Bocce Ball, sometimes referred to as Italian Lawn Bowling, is one of the oldest and most widely played lawn sports in the world. The Windsor Center is proud to host two indoor courts available year-round to the community, located in Room 306. Materials for these courts were provided by Connor Sports Flooring.
Rules
Games can be played with teams of 1-4 people. Each team will need 4 larger bocce balls and one smaller “pallina” ball to share. The first team to go will then throw the pallina ball past the center line, but typically still as close as possible to the center. Then each team will attempt to get their bocce balls the closest to the pallina. Full rules may be found here.
Leagues
The Joseph Polich Bocce Men’s League play on Tuesdays during January to March. There is a Co-Ed League plan on Mondays during January to March.
